Following on from my three earlier pics today - here are three more! All are of the Manor ruins in the Wycoller village. Not much left but it made for some nifty shots. More to come…

It's been a while since I did any texturing in photoshop.. So why not here with this quack quack image?
I love the golden tones and these are because it was such a lovely sunny day. Two more ducky shots coming.... ;^)

Landscape image ... 50!!mm ... I like it! :]
pack horse bridge
This is one of my personal favourite pictures that I’ve ever taken. It follows on from yesterdays Flickr upload of the Pack Horse Bridge in Wycoller, Lancashire, England.
For reference see here:

lancashire
We spent the day in the Lancashire countryside visiting a tiny little village called Wycoller. Here's one of the pics during our day…
lindisfarne

a view from holy island
Another olde from my archives.. but the processing was done today. Completely fake light as I wanted a more "sunset" type image here - although this was probably taken around midday!
Even with my novice photoshop skills, I think I did a good job here... Comments and advice always welcome! :-)
another bug!
This is an old shot from 2010 .. I'm so amazed how well it turned out. I wasn't using a macro lens or even a magnifier - hence the hefty crop!
Nice details, even if I do say so myself :)
parcevall hall
Taken on a rather gloomy and typically English day in north yorkshire. It rained all day!
incoming
To complete todays trio .. here's another olde shot from Stanley Park in Blackpool, Lancashire.
stanley park
An olde picture I shot not long after getting my SLR ... I'd like to think I could do better now! But I still liked this one.

unwind
This was taken in Bluebell Cottage Gardens in Cheshire. I hope to go back here again someday during the height of summer as they've got so many beautiful flowers here.
Thanks for viewing todays uploads :-)
fenced in
Taken from a rather wild and bushy woodland footpath that ran alongside farmland. I thought I'd try and mix in sepia with this heavy dof pic..

Take in the country village of Daresbury in Cheshire, England. I don't know whether or not this was really a postal office at one time in the past... but it made a nice vintage picture :-)
buzzy
Taken in Daresbury last weekend when we went to see the Lewis Carroll birthplace. Dozens of bees everywhere and here's one of 'em!! Thanks for viewing.

betws-y-coed
Taken in betws-y-coed, directly facing the sun. Sometimes this works.. sometimes it doesn't. I'd like to think it worked this time? :)
sparkle
Something I knocked together in Aperture with a little help from Topaz Labs too. Made the shot in Daresbury in Cheshire, England.
Looks great on Flickr now they've updated their pages format. Enjoy this .. err... whatever it is! ;-)

caught in the crossfire
Picture taken today in the little village of Daresbury in Cheshire, England. We had the day out to play tourist and visit the Lewis Carroll birthplace, church and visitor center, etc..
But whilst we walked here, I came across this rather cool looking Chrysler on the roadside .. I'm still saving up for mine! ;^) Made in Apple Aperture and also Topaz Clean.

tea, anyone?
I've not posted any abandonment or "ghost town" images since our Texas road trip back in 09 .. Hardly the same, but we did find this old pavillion at Hardcastle Crags during our woodland walk.
A little googling came up with this snippet of info: "The old Pavilion by the river Hebden at Hardcastle Crags this was used as a tea room in the 1920s unfortunately it is now beyond repair so is probably going to be demolished in the vey near future."
