I posted a picture of this a few months ago iirc.. here's it again from the other side. I liked this old ghost and I hope my processing did the mood justice. Thanks for viewing.

cawdor
As you can see, I'm still in the mood for making pics look old. I quite like this one of Cawdor Castle in northern Scotland. Taken from a fairly low perspective in their gardens, looking up at the castle.
All processing done in Aperture with textures layered in using Photoshop on my iMac.

brodie
Brodie Castle again in norther Scotland, UK. This time I fancied that olde look and played with a texture in photoshop #Mac
Interestingly, whilst on the tour inside this old home we learned two things:
One, it's not a castle! That just sounds good and gets the tourists in! It's actually a fortified home.....
Two, the old postal address for this place was just Brodie Castle, NB. !!
NB being: North Britain.
What an address, eh??? !!!
Brilliant :)

home
Brodie Castle in northern Scotland. It's not really a castle but a fortified home. But, like the tour guide said, "castle" sounds far better to get those tourists in! Had to love their honesty.
Really cool place too. I'll get some more pics upload soon enough… Thanks for taking the time to view.

flutterby
Sometimes nature plays ball - it stays still and allows me to make the shot. Odd as butterflies never normally keep still!!!

better halves
I shot this one when we went for a little woodland walk a couple of weeks ago. Processed in Apple Aperture but then layered it a little in PS with the original to lessen that blur..
I liked the end result. Hope you do too!
Thanks for viewing :)

cut short
My latest flickr and 500px upload. Taken across the sea in northern Scotland. A little rainbow with the rest probably hidden behind those clouds....
It rained very heavily about 10 mins later!
Yes, the bird is real. Not a photoshopped version at all. Totally real. Good timing!! :-)

cannon fodder
My latest upload on Flickr today. Taken in northern Scotland at a place I cannot remember the name of.
Some fortified house (not a castle!) and I processed this on my Mac using Perfect Effects, Aperture and Photoshop Elements.
I like the end result.. hope you do too!

lancashire
Trying out a plugin for Apple Aperture called Perfect Effects (free). Seems like it's really cool... although I doubt I could afford to upgrade! $$
Donations very much welcome!
Until then, enjoy rural Lancashire...
mag
A little bit of macro to start the weekend.... Ok, I've no macro lens as such. This was taken with those awful mag filters. PITA to use but sometimes the results are good.

mersey estuary
The famous Mersey Estuary in Runcorn looking north towards widness (I think). The Runcorn Bridge is actually to my left off picture...
ouch!
Another taken at Dutton Locks and that fella dropped the rope on the poor woman's head. Ouch, indeed !!
shame
Ignoring the mess ... shame on the council... this is actually a cool pic in b/w. Hope you agree!
