My latest flickr picture uploaded today. I shot this one in the Roddlesworth area of the Pennine Moors in Lancashire, England.

Looks like a really nice home that deserved the vintage treatment. Shot in Hipstamatic and then helped along a little more with Instagram. All done on the iPhone 5. iOS7.

My simplest flickr upload in a while : I basically cropped it and added a little contrast. Then smoothed out the noise using Topaz DeNoise (high iso).

Taken in Williamson Park's Butterfly House which is in Lancaster, England.

It's got three names (see flickr) too, the funniest being a Large Tree Nymph Butterfly. Well, I thought it was funny lol

The extreme winter conditions at Bolton Abbey (or Bolton Priory!) in the English Yorkshire Dales national park.

Today was VERY cold but we love this place and there are also some lovely walks here too.

I thought black and white would suit this snowy scene and maybe emphasise the bitterness of winter too?

I walked on after taking the shot and enjoyed the morning in the countryside. The fog cleared shortly after this pic was taken!
