unwind
This was taken in Bluebell Cottage Gardens in Cheshire. I hope to go back here again someday during the height of summer as they've got so many beautiful flowers here.
Thanks for viewing todays uploads :-)
fenced in
Taken from a rather wild and bushy woodland footpath that ran alongside farmland. I thought I'd try and mix in sepia with this heavy dof pic..

smail
Take in the country village of Daresbury in Cheshire, England. I don't know whether or not this was really a postal office at one time in the past... but it made a nice vintage picture :-)
buzzy
Taken in Daresbury last weekend when we went to see the Lewis Carroll birthplace. Dozens of bees everywhere and here's one of 'em!! Thanks for viewing.

betws-y-coed
Taken in betws-y-coed, directly facing the sun. Sometimes this works.. sometimes it doesn't. I'd like to think it worked this time? :)
sparkle
Something I knocked together in Aperture with a little help from Topaz Labs too. Made the shot in Daresbury in Cheshire, England.
Looks great on Flickr now they've updated their pages format. Enjoy this .. err... whatever it is! ;-)

caught in the crossfire
Picture taken today in the little village of Daresbury in Cheshire, England. We had the day out to play tourist and visit the Lewis Carroll birthplace, church and visitor center, etc..
But whilst we walked here, I came across this rather cool looking Chrysler on the roadside .. I'm still saving up for mine! ;^) Made in Apple Aperture and also Topaz Clean.

tea, anyone?
I've not posted any abandonment or "ghost town" images since our Texas road trip back in 09 .. Hardly the same, but we did find this old pavillion at Hardcastle Crags during our woodland walk.
A little googling came up with this snippet of info: "The old Pavilion by the river Hebden at Hardcastle Crags this was used as a tea room in the 1920s unfortunately it is now beyond repair so is probably going to be demolished in the vey near future."
Thanks for viewing !

An old cotton mill in West Yorkshire near the town of Hebden Bridge. It's also a great walk through the woodland in this part of the southern Pennines.

St Nicholas' Chapel
Here I shot a rather simple perspective of a cool (and private) chapel in Cheshire, England.
However, the sky was a dull and very boring grey. So I spiced it up a little in photoshop and also layered in a fake sun too...
I like it now!
See the flickr page for more info....
